Hyundai Genesis (DH) 2013-2016 Service Manual / Automatic Transmission System (SBC) / Hydraulic System / Oil Filter Repair procedures

Replacement
1.
Completely drain ATF.
2.
Remove the valve body cover (A).

3.
Oil filter is integral with the valve body cover, so replace the valve body cover.
   
The oil filter (A) is non-exchangeable because it is integral with the valve body.

4.
Fill the oil of about 7.0 liters through oil injection hole.
5.
Check the oil level.
(Refer to Hydraulic system - "Fluid")

    Service Adjustment Procedure Oil level Check     The ATF level check is not normally required during scheduled services. If an oil leak is found, perform the oil level check procedure after repairs are completed.

    Description The valve body is essential to automatic transmission control and consists of various valves used to control the oil feed from the oil pump.
