The ATF level check is not normally required during scheduled
services. If an oil leak is found, perform the oil level check
procedure after repairs are completed. |
When checking the oil level, be careful not to allow dust, foreign materials, etc. to enter the fill hole.

Replacement 1. Completely drain ATF. 2. Remove the valve body cover (A). 3. Oil filter is integral with the valve body cover, so replace the valve body cover.

Inspection 1. Turn the ignition switch OFF. 2. Disconnect the auto defogging connector. 3. Verify that the auto defogging actuator operates to the open position when connecting 12V to terminal 3 and grounding terminal 4. Verify that the auto defogging actuator operates to the close position when connected in reverse.
