Description
A ratchet tightening device on the threaded fuel filler cap reduces the chances of incorrect installation, which would seal the fuel filler. After the gasket on the fuel filler cap and the filler neck flange contact each other, the ratchet produces a loud clicking noise which indicates the seal has been set.

    Removal 1. Turn the ignition switch OFF and disconnect the negative (-) battery cable. 2. Remove the rear-left wheel & tire and house cover.

    Replacement 1. Turn the ignition switch OFF and disconnect the negative (-) battery cable. 2. Remove the canister assembly. (Refer to Evaporative Emission Control System - "Canister") 3.

    Removal 1. Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal. 2. Remove the photo & auto light sensor. (Refer to Windshield Wiper/Washer - "Rain Sensor") Installation 1. Install the auto light sensor. 2. Connect the negative (-) battery terminal.
