Components Location

1. Backing plate
2. Operating lever
3. Upper spring
4. Lower spring
5. Adjuster
6. Shoe hold down spring
7. Shoe hold down pin
8. Parking brake shoe
9. Shoe hold down washer
10. Pull off spring

    Removal Parking Brake Pedal 1. Remove the crash pad lower panel. (Refer to Body - "Crash Pad") 2. Remove the IPM after removing the nut and connector.

    Removal 1. If the compressor is marginally operable, run the engine at idle speed, and let the air conditioning work for a few minutes, then shut the engine off. 2. Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal. 3. Remove the engine room cover.
