Middle speed sensor is a vital unit that measures the
direction of rotation of the input shaft inside the transmission and
delivers the readings to the TCM.
Inspection 1. Check signal waveform of Input speed sensor using the GDS. Specification: Refer to "Signal Wave Form" section.

Removal 1. Disconnect the negative(-) battery terminal. 2. Remove the driver crash pad lower panel. (Refer to Body - "Crash Pad Lower Panel") 3. Remove the start/stop button (A) from the center fascia garnish after loosening the mounting clip.

Removal 1. If the compressor is marginally operable, run the engine at idle speed, and let the air conditioning work for a few minutes, then shut the engine off. 2. Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal. 3. Remove the engine room cover.
