Press the MODE switch more than 4 times within 2 seconds while pressing the OFF switch.

Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal. |

Remove the glove box upper cover.
(Refer to Body - "Crash Pad Main Lower Assembly") |

Loosen the mounting screw and then remove the shower duct (A).

Disconnect the evaporator temperature sensor connector, and then remove the cluster ionizer (A).

Install in the reverse order of removal. |
Description The cluster ionizer disinfects and decomposes bad smell from the air-conditioner or inflow air in order to clean the indoor air of a vehicle.
Removal 1. If the compressor is marginally operable, run the engine at idle speed, and let the air conditioning work for a few minutes, then shut the engine off. 2. Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal. 3. Remove the engine room cover.
Description The auto defogging sensor is installed on the front window glass. The sensor judges and sends signal if moisture occurs to blow out wind for defogging.
