Removal and Installation 1. Disconnect the battery "-" terminal from the trunk room. 2. Remove the engine cover. (Refer to Engine And Transaxle Assembly - "Engine Cover") 3.
Removal and Installation 1. Remove the drive belt. (Refer to Timing System - "Drive Belt") 2. Remove the drive belt idler (A). Tightening torque : 44.

Replacement 1. Remove the condenser. 2. Remove the cap (B) on the bottom of the condenser with the L wrench (A). Tightening torque : 9.81 ~ 14.71 N.m (1.0 ~ 1.5 kgf.m, 7.2 ~ 10.8 lb-ft) 3. Remove the receiver-drier (A) from condenser using a long nose plier.

Inspection 1. Turn the ignition switch OFF. 2. Disconnect the auto defogging connector. 3. Verify that the auto defogging actuator operates to the open position when connecting 12V to terminal 3 and grounding terminal 4. Verify that the auto defogging actuator operates to the close position when connected in reverse.
