Diagnosis With GDS 1. BSD system defects can be quickly diagnosed with the GDS. GDS operates actuator quickly to monitor, input/output value and self diagnosis.
Removal 1. Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal. 2. Remove the rear bumper. (Refer to Body - "Rear Bumper") 3. Remove the BSD unit (A) after loosening the mounting nuts.

Removal 1. Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal. 2. Remove the front/rear bumper cover. (Refer to Body - "Front Bumper Cover") (Refer to Body - "Rear Bumper Cover") 3. Disconnect the connector (B) from the parking assist sensor (A).

Replacement 1. Discharge refrigerant from refrigeration system. 2. Replace any faulty tubes or hoses. Cap the open fittings immediately to keep moisture or dirt out of the system. 3. Tighten the bolt or nut joint to the specified torque.
