Inspection Check it by the procedure below to see if the function of the ECM is normal. 1. Turn the ignition key to the "ON" position. 2. Cover the forward facing sensor.

Removal 1. Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal. 2. Remove the front/rear bumper cover. (Refer to Body - "Front Bumper Cover") (Refer to Body - "Rear Bumper Cover") 3. Disconnect the connector (B) from the parking assist sensor (A).

Inspection 1. Turn the ignition switch OFF. 2. Disconnect the intake actuator connector. 3. Verify that the intake actuator operates to the fresh position when connecting 12V to terminal 3 and grounding terminal 4. Verify that the intake actuator operates to the recirculation position when connected in reverse.
