Hyundai Genesis: Air Conditioning System / Cluster Ionizer Repair procedures

Inspection

1.	Press the MODE switch more than 4 times within 2 seconds while pressing the OFF switch. Display Fail description 00 Normal 51 Cluster ion generator fault * For diagnostic procedure, refer to DTC guide.

Replacement

1.	Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal.

2.	Remove the glove box upper cover. (Refer to Body - "Crash Pad Main Lower Assembly")

3.	Loosen the mounting screw and then remove the shower duct (A).

4.	Disconnect the evaporator temperature sensor connector, and then remove the cluster ionizer (A).

5.	Install in the reverse order of removal.
