Removal and Installation
1.
Remove the surge tank.
(Refer to Intake and Exhaust System - "Surge Tank")
2.
Remove the breather pipe & hose (A).
Tightening torque :
9.8 ~ 11.8 N.m (1.0 ~ 1.2 kgf.m, 7.2 ~ 8.7 lb-ft)

3.
Remove the water hose (C) and pipe (A) and then remove the intake manifold (B).

    Inspection 1. Turn the ignition switch OFF. 2. Disconnect the mode control actuator connector. 3. Verify that the mode control actuator operates to the defrost mode when connecting 12V to terminal 3 and grounding terminal 4. Verify that the mode control actuator operates to the vent mode when connected in reverse.

    Self Diagnosis 1. Self-diagnosis process 2. How to read self-diagnostic code After the display panel blinks three times every 0.5 second, the corresponding fault code blinks on the setup temperature display panel every 0.5 second and will show two figures.
