Adjustment
Introduction
It is necessary to check and input the calibration data when the controller is replaced as the characteristics of the internal frictional materials (clutch pack) change due to driving.
Creation condition and calibration method
1.
In case of replacing the transfer case and ITA (ECU)
A.
Calibration procedure is not required.
2.
In case of replacing the transfer case only.
A.
Perform "the clutch learning reset" procedure.

3.
In case of replacing the ITA (ECU) only
A.
Perform "the ECU Date Back-up & Writing" procedure.

4.
Perform the following procedure in case of the appearance of failure code. (T/C clutch calibration, power down calibration and the HW serialization data input)

5.
In case of the appearance of specific DTC and oil change.
A.
Perform "the Oil data Initialization" procedure.

    Description 1. Description A. This system is to optimize driving performance through distributing the driving force to the front and rear wheels actively depending on the road condition and driving condition.

    Removal 1. Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal. 2. Remove the rear bumper. (Refer to Body - "Rear Bumper") 3. Remove the BSD unit (A) after loosening the mounting nuts.     Take care not to separate the bracket from rear bumper when removing the BSD sensor.

    Replacement 1. Remove the condenser. 2. Remove the cap (B) on the bottom of the condenser with the L wrench (A). Tightening torque : 9.81 ~ 14.71 N.m (1.0 ~ 1.5 kgf.m, 7.2 ~ 10.8 lb-ft) 3. Remove the receiver-drier (A) from condenser using a long nose plier.
