Description The fuel pump control module (FPCM) is installed on the right side of the trunk compartment. It controls the BLDC (Brushless DC) motor mounted inside the variable low pressure fuel pump.
Circuit Diagram
Removal 1. Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal. 2. Remove the rear bumper. (Refer to Body - "Rear Bumper") 3. Remove the BSD unit (A) after loosening the mounting nuts. Take care not to separate the bracket from rear bumper when removing the BSD sensor.
Instructions When Handling Refrigerant 1. R-134a liquid refrigerant is highly volatile. A drop on the skin of your hand could result in localized frostbite. When handling the refrigerant, be sure to wear gloves. 2. It is standard practice to wear goggles or glasses to protect your eyes, and gloves to protect your hands.
