Hyundai Genesis: Trunk Lid / Trunk Lid Back Panel Repair procedures

Replacement

• Put on gloves to prevent hand injuries.

• When removing with a flat-tip screwdriver or remover, wrap protective tape around the tools to prevent damage to components. • Take care not to scratch the body surface.

1.	Remove the trunk lid trim. (Refer to Trunk Lid - "Trunk Lid Trim")

2.	Remove the inside rear combination lamp. (Refer to Body Electrical System - "Rear combination lamp")

3.	Loosen the mounting nut, and remove the trunk lid panel (A).

4.	Remove the tailgate garnish (B).

5.	Install in the reverse order of removal. • Make sure the connector are connected in properly. • Replace any damaged clips.
