Components

1. Shift lever knob
2. Shift lever boots
3. Shift lever assembly
4. Shift cable

    Removal 1. Remove the console upper cover (A). 2. Pull the shift lever knob (B) upward to remove it. 3. Remove the knob&boots(A) from the console upper cover.

    Removal 1. Remove the nut (B) and clip (C). 2. Remove the shift cable (A) assembly from the transmission. Tightening torque : 12.7 ~ 15.7 N.

    Inspection 1. Turn the ignition switch OFF. 2. Disconnect the intake actuator connector. 3. Verify that the intake actuator operates to the fresh position when connecting 12V to terminal 3 and grounding terminal 4. Verify that the intake actuator operates to the recirculation position when connected in reverse.
