Hyundai Genesis: Floor Console / Rear Console Cover Repair procedures

Replacement
   
Put on gloves to prevent hand injuries.
   
When removing with a flat-tip screwdriver or remover, wrap protective tape around the tools to prevent damage to components.
When removing the interior trim pieces, use a plastic panel removal tool not to damage the surface.
Take care not to bend or scratch the trim and panels.
1.
Remove the floor console assembly.
(Refer to Floor Console - "Floor Console Assembly")
2.
Remove the floor console armrest.
(Refer to Floor Console - "Front Console Armrest")
3.
Loosen the mounting screws (A) located on the upper and rear sides of rear console cover.

4.
Disconnect the connector (A).

5.
Install in the reverse order of removal.
   
Make sure the connector is connected properly.
Replace any damage clips.
