    Description Manifold Absolute Pressure Sensor (MAPS) is a speed-density type sensor and is installed on the surge tank. It senses absolute pressure of the surge tank and transfers the analog signal proportional to the pressure to the ECM.

    Inspection 1. Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal. 2. Remove the crash pad lower panel. (Refer to Body - "Crash Pad Lower Panel") 3. Remove the lower crash pad switch assembly (A) after disengaging the mounting clip. 4. Remove the rheostat switch connector (A).

    Inspection 1. Check the condenser fins for clogging and damage. If they are clogged, clean them with water, and blow them with compressed air.
