Hyundai Genesis: Gauges / Fuel Gauge
This gauge indicates the approximate
amount of fuel remaining in the
fuel tank.
✽ NOTICE
- The fuel tank capacity is given in
chapter 8.
- The fuel gauge is supplemented by
a low fuel warning light, which
will illuminate when the fuel tank
is nearly empty.
- On inclines or curves, the fuel
gauge pointer may fluctuate or the
low fuel warning light may come
on earlier than usual due to the
movement of fuel in the tank.
WARNING
Running out of fuel can expose
vehicle occupants to danger.
You must stop and obtain additional
fuel as soon as possible
after the warning light comes
on or when the gauge indicator
comes close to the "E (Empty)"
level.
CAUTION
Avoid driving with an extremely
low fuel level. Running out of
fuel could cause the engine to
misfire, damaging the catalytic
converter.
This gauge indicates the temperature
of the engine coolant when the
engine is running.

If the gauge pointer moves
beyond the normal range area
toward the "H" position, it indicates ...
The odometer indicates the total distance
that the vehicle has been driven
and should be used to determine
when periodic maintenance should
be performed.

Removal
1.
Loosen the wheel nuts slightly. Raise the vehicle, and make sure it is securely supported.
2.
Remove the front wheel and tire (A) from the rear hub.
Tightening torque:
88.3 ~ 107.9 N.m (9.0 ~ 11.0 kgf.m, 65.1 ~ 79.6 lb-ft)

Replacement
1.
Remove the condenser.
2.
Remove the cap (B) on the bottom of the condenser with the L wrench (A).
Tightening torque :
9.81 ~ 14.71 N.m (1.0 ~ 1.5 kgf.m, 7.2 ~ 10.8 lb-ft)

Remove the receiver-drier (A) from condenser using a long
