Hyundai Genesis: Front Suspension System / Front Upper Arm Repair procedures

Remove the front wheel and tire (A) from the front hub .
Tightening torque:
88.3 ~ 107.9 N.m (9.0 ~ 11.0 kgf.m, 65.1 ~ 79.6 lb-ft)

Be careful not to damage the hub bolts when removing the rear wheel and tire (A). |

Remove the front strut assembly.
(Refer to Front Suspension System - "Front Strut Assembly") |
3. |
Disconnect the front upper arm (A) from the front strut assembly bracket (B) by loosening the bolt.
Tightening torque:
98.1 ~ 117.7N.m (10.0 ~ 12.0kgf.m, 72.3 ~ 86.8lb-ft)

Installation is in the reverse order of removal.

Keep mind in upper arm installing angle. |

Check the alignment.
(Refer to Tires/Wheels - "Alignment")

Check the bushing for wear and deterioration. |

Check the ball joint for rotating torque. |
