Hyundai Genesis: Front Seat / Front Seat Shield Outer Cover Repair procedures

Put on gloves to prevent hand injuries. |

When removing with a flat-tip screwdriver or remover, wrap protective tape around the tools to prevent damage to components. |
• |
When removing the interior trim pieces, use a plastic panel removal tool not to damage the surface. |
• |
Take care not to bend or scratch the trim and panels. |

Remove the front seat center shield cover (A). 
|
2. |
After loosening the mounting screws, remove the front seat front shield outer cover (A). 
|
3. |
Disconnect the power seat air lumber support switch connector (A). 
|
4. |
After loosening the mounting screws, separate the front shield outer cover (A) from the rear shield outer cover (B). 
|
5. |
Install in the reverse order of removal.

Make sure the connector is connected properly. |
• |
Replace any damaged clips. |
