    Description The Driver Airbag (DAB) is installed in the steering wheel and electrically connected to SRSCM via the clock spring. It protects the driver by deploying the airbag when frontal crash occurs.

    Removal 1. Disconnect the battery negative cable and wait for at least three minutes before beginning work. 2. Put a flat tool(O4mm) into a guide hole located in the bottom of steering wheel and press a spring.

    Inspection 1. Turn the ignition switch OFF. 2. Disconnect the intake actuator connector. 3. Verify that the intake actuator operates to the fresh position when connecting 12V to terminal 3 and grounding terminal 4. Verify that the intake actuator operates to the recirculation position when connected in reverse.
