| Description |
Curtain airbags are installed inside the headliner (LH and
RH) and protect the driver and passenger from danger when a side crash
occurs. The SRSCM determines deployment of the curtain airbag by using
the side impact sensor (SIS) signal.
Never attempt to measure the circuit resistance of the airbag
module even if you are using a specified tester. If the circuit
resistance is measured with a tester, accidental airbag deployment will
result in serious personal injury. |
Removal Front Side Airbag 1. Disconnect the battery negative cable and wait for at least 3 minutes before beginning work. 2. Remove the front seat assembly.
