Hyundai Genesis: Engine Control System / Barometric Pressure Sensor (BPS) Repair procedures

Connect the GDS on the Data Link Connector (DLC). |
2. |
Measure the output voltage of the BPS at idle and with the ignition ON.
Specification: Refer to "Specification"

Turn the ignition switch OFF and disconnect the battery negative (-) cable. |
2. |
Disconnect the barometric pressure sensor connector (A). |
3. |
Remove the installation bolt (B), and then remove the sensor from the air cleaner assembly. |

Install the component with the specified torques. |
• |
Note that internal damage may occur if the component drops. If the component drops, inspect it before installation. |

• |
Insert the sensor in the installation hole and be careful not to damage during installation.

To install, reverse the removal procedure.
Barometric pressure sensor installation bolt:
3.9 ~ 5.9 N.m (0.4 ~ 0.6 kgf.m, 2.9 ~ 4.3 lb-ft)
