Description
The multimedia jack on the console upper cover is for customers who like to listen to external portable music players like the MP3, iPod and etc., through the vehicle's sound system when it is linked to this jack. The customer has this added option.
In case of distorted sound coming from the AUX-linked external music players, the audio unit may not be defective but the output level of the player does not match the specification of the AUX.

    Removal 1. Disconnect the negative(-) battery terminal. 2. Remove the floor console assembly. (Refer to Body - "Floor Console Assembly") 3.

    Removal 1. Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal. 2. Remove the head up display bezel (A). 3. Remove the instrument cluster. (Refer to Indicators And Guages - "Instrument Cluster") 4. Remove the head up display unit bracket (A) after loosening the mounting nuts.

    Removal 1. If the compressor is marginally operable, run the engine at idle speed, and let the air conditioning work for a few minutes, then shut the engine off. 2. Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal. 3. Remove the engine room cover.
