Hyundai Genesis: Automatic Transmission Cooling System / ATF Warmer Repair procedures

Removal
1.
Draining the coolant.
(Refer to Engine Mechanical System - "Coolant")
2.
Remove the exhaust manifold.
(Engine Mechanical System - "Exhaust Manifold")
3.
Remove the oil cooler tube (A).

   
Replace the O-ring (A) before reinstalling the oil cooler tube.
After the installation, start the engine and then check if there are any leakages from the hose.

4.
Disconnect the clamp and then cooling hose (A).
5.
Remove the ATF Warmer (C).

   
Carefully install the clamp not to damage the hose.
Install the clamp in a correct direction not to interfere with other parts.
After the installation, start the engine and then check if there are any leakages from the hose.
Installation
1.
To install, reverse the removal procedure.
   
After checking the oil level, refill the automatic transmission with fluid.
(Refer to Hydraulic System - "Fluid")
Refill coolant.
