    Description The ATF warmer is mounted on the transmission to reduce oil viscosity frictionby increasing the temperature of oil in cold state, which in turn improves fuel efficiency It is mounted on the entry of the Electronic Throttle Controller (ETC) in series, as shown in the diagram, and minimizes the effects of cabin heating system.

    Inspection 1. Turn the ignition switch OFF. 2. Disconnect the auto defogging connector. 3. Verify that the auto defogging actuator operates to the open position when connecting 12V to terminal 3 and grounding terminal 4. Verify that the auto defogging actuator operates to the close position when connected in reverse.
