Hyundai Genesis: Fuel Filler Door / Repair procedures

Replacement

• Put on gloves to prevent hand injuries.

• When removing with a flat-tip screwdriver or remover, wrap protective tape around the tools to prevent damage to components. • Take care not to scratch the body surface.

1.	Open the fuel filler door cap (A).

2.	Remove the fuel filler door pushpin (A) by turning it in a counterclockwise direction.

3.	After loosening the mounting screws, remove the fuel filler door (A). • When removing, pull out the packing part from inside not to damage the fuel filler door packing part

4.	Install in the reverse order of removal. • Make sure the fuel filler door locks/unlocks and opens/closes properly. • Replace any damaged clips.
