Hyundai Genesis: Rear Seat / Rear Seat Assembly Repair procedures

Replacement
[Rear Seat Cushion Assembly]
1.
Remove the rear seat cushion assembly (A) by pulling it upward.

Tightening torque :
19.6 ~ 29.4 N.m (2.0 ~ 3.0 kgf.m, 14.5 ~ 21.7 lb-ft)

2.
Disconnect the rear seat cushion extension connector (A).

3.
Install in the reverse order of removal.
   
Make sure the connector is connected properly.
[Rear Seat Back Assembly]
1.
Remove the rear seat cushion assembly.
(Refer to Rear Seat - "Rear Seat Assembly")
2.
After loosening the mounting bolts, remove the rear seat back assembly (A) by pulling it upward.

   
? Removal of the hook located at the outer side
-
Release the hook by pushing the front (A) and rear (B) grooves until "click" sound is heard using an awl or pin.

3.
After loosening the mounting bolts, remove the rear seat back assembly (A) by pulling it upward.

Tightening torque :
19.6 ~ 29.4 N.m (2.0 ~ 3.0 kgf.m, 14.5 ~ 21.7 lb-ft)

4.
Disconnect the rear seat back extension connector (A) and airbag connector (B).

[RH]

5.
Install in the reverse order of removal.
   
Make sure the connector is connected properly.
