Hyundai Genesis (DH): Lubrication System / Oil Pump Repair procedures

Removal and Installation

1.	Remove the lower oil pan. (Refer to Lubrication System - "Oil pan")

2.	Remove the upper oil pan.

Remove the bolt (A) and then separate the chain with sprocket from the oil pump.

Tightening torque :

19.6 ~ 24.5 N.m (2.0 ~ 2.5 kgf.m, 14.5 ~ 18.1 lb-ft)

4.	Remove the oil of proportional control solenoid connector (A).

5.	Remove the oil pump bracket bolt (A).

After loosening the oil pump mounting bolt, remove the oil pump (A) and upper oil pan together.

Tightening torque :

20.6 ~ 22.6 N.m (2.1 ~ 2.3 kgf.m, 15.2 ~ 16.6 lb-ft)

7.	To install, reverse the removal procedure.
