Inspection 1. Turn the ignition switch OFF. 2. Disconnect the OTS connector. 3. Remove the OTS (Refer to "Removal"). 4. After immersing the thermistor of the sensor into engine coolant, measure resistance between the OTS terminals 1 and 2.

Diagnosis With GDS 1. BSD system defects can be quickly diagnosed with the GDS. GDS operates actuator quickly to monitor, input/output value and self diagnosis. 2. Connect the cable of GDS to the data link connector in driver side crash pad lower panel, and turn on the GDS.

Removal 1. Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal. 2. Remove the crash pad lower panel. (Refer to Body - "Crash Pad") 3. Remove the blind spot detection (BSD) switch (A) after disengaging the mounting clip. Installation 1. Install the crash pad side switch assembly after connecting the connector.
