Hyundai Genesis: Air Conditioning System / Ambient Temperature Sensor Repair procedures

Inspection
1.
Check the resistance of the ambient temperature sensor between terminals 1 and 2 whether it changes by changing the ambient temperature.

Replacement
1.
Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal.
2.
Remove the front bumper.
(Refer to Body - "Outside Rear View Mirror")
3.
Loosen the screws securing the ambient temperature sensor.
4.
Push upward the ball (B) in the lower side while lifting up the two clips (A).

5.
Disconnect the connector, then remove the ambient temperature sensor.
6.
Install in the reverse order of removal.
