| Removal |

Turn the ignition switch OFF and disconnect the negative (-) battery cable. |

Disconnect the accelerator position sensor connector (A). |
| 3. |
Remove the mounting nut (C) after removing the top cap (B). |
| 4. |
Remove the mounting bolt (E) after removing the Lower cap (D).

To install, reverse the removal procedure.

Removal 1. Remove the filler neck mounting screws (A) after opening the fuel filler door. 2. Remove the rear-left wheel & tire and wheel house cover.
Removal
Description The compressor is the power unit of the A/C system. It is located on the side of engine block and driven by a V-belt of the engine. The compressor changes low-pressure and low-temperature refrigerant gas into high-pressure and high-temperature refrigerant gas.
Inspection 1. Turn the ignition switch OFF. 2. Disconnect the auto defogging connector. 3. Verify that the auto defogging actuator operates to the open position when connecting 12V to terminal 3 and grounding terminal 4. Verify that the auto defogging actuator operates to the close position when connected in reverse.
